Welcome to the 2022- 2023 ST7 Volleyball Club Season. We are excited to get started with the club season this year and happy to have both returning athletes and some new athletes joining our ST7 family. Please take the time to read through everything that you will find posted on this page. Please note that some of the information is still tentative but we do anticipate having most of the information finalized by October.  In order to commit, you must complete the last steps of reading the handbook and electronically signing the Statement of Commitment by 12:00 pm on Monday, August 22nd. When finished viewing the team, please scroll down to find important information regarding the season. Please note, that if you are committing to the season, your signature on the Statement of Commitment will act as our notification. If you are NOT committing to the season, we do ask that you email us to let us know.

We will match this team with 8-9 tournaments. These tournaments will be from this list or other alternative of the same caliber. Please note that some of the tournaments have not yet released their dates. As soon as these dates are released, we will be able to update and finalize the tournament schedule. This list was updated on 10/3/22.

Practices

Practices will begin at the beginning of November. The season is planned to run from November through June. Practices will be held at the Faith Lutheran Gym: 2727 S. Grove Street, Eustis, FL 32726. 

  • 14U: Monday/Wednesday from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm 

  • Some practices at the beginning of the season may run from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm based on the availability of the gym. These will be noted on the calendar given at the beginning of the season. 

  • Practice days may vary 1-2 weeks a season due to Coach Sammy having to travel with his 16U travel team. These weeks will be noted in the practice calendar given at the beginning of the season.. 

  • When the gym at Faith Lutheran is unavailable, our back up location is the gym at Round Lake Charter School. 

  • All plans are subject to change due to any state/federal mandates due to COVID or other COVID-related situations.

Commitment and First Payment

After viewing the information above, if you would like to commit to the team and ST7 Volleyball for the 2022 - 2023 Club Season, there are a few steps to complete in order to secure your spot on the team and commit to the season. 

Step One: Read the Parent/Athlete Handbook in its entirety. This handbook has been updated in several areas and it is vital that you read and decide if you are comfortable committing to the policies found within. To view the handbook: Click Here 

 

Step Two: Once you have completed reading the handbook and you have decided that you are comfortable committing to the season, you will need to electronically sign the Statement of Commitment by 12:00 pm on Monday, 8.22.22. To sign the Statement of Commitment: Click Here

 

Step Three: If you are committing to the season your signature on the Statement of Commitment will act as your notification to ST7.  *If you have decided to not commit to the season, please email us at st7volleyball@gmail.com to let us know. 

 

Step Four: Your signed Statement of Commitment will serve as your acknowledgment that you have read through the entire handbook and are agreeing to abide by the rules and policies found within. If you have any questions about what is found in the handbook, please reach out to us immediately, as you must commit within 24 hours (by 12:00 pm on Monday, 8.22.22). Please note that if you choose to sign the Statement of Commitment without reading it in its entirety, this will not excuse any consequences for violations of the policies found within. We will have a mandatory parent/athlete/coach meeting at the beginning of the season. The date and time for the meeting will be announced later. 

 

Step Five: In order to accept an athlete's commitment the first payment of $500, must be paid by Monday, 8.22.22. This commitment payment will cover the cost of the athlete’s uniform package. In order to allow for touchless payment, ST7 will email an electronic QuickBooks invoice for the commitment payment. This invoice can be paid with an electronic bank transfer for free. You may also pay the commitment payment through the QuickBooks invoice with a credit card. If paying with a credit card, there is a service fee of $16 for this payment. Finally, we will be available from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm on Monday, 8.22.22 at the Round Lake Charter School Gym (31333 Round Lake Rd. Mount Dora, FL 32757)to accept payments by cash or check.  

 

Step Six: On Tuesday, 8.23.22, ST7 will publish the names of the committed athletes for each team. A committed athlete is defined as an athlete who has signed their letter of commitment within 24 hours after the team posting and paid their commitment payment by Monday, 8.22.22.

 

Step Seven: Athletes will need to attend a uniform fitting as uniforms are custom and we must ensure we order the correct sizes. We have two nights available for uniform fittings. Athletes may come Monday, 8/22/22 any time from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm at the Round Lake Charter School Gym or Tuesday, 8/23/22 any time from from 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm at the Faith Lutheran gym.

Step Eight:  Upon commitment, athletes will need to complete more documents and obtain the appropriate memberships for their team. We will provide a list of documents and memberships necessary for each team and athlete at a later date. AAU memberships are approximately $14 and USAV memberships are approximately $55. Please do not purchase your memberships yet as they will expire before the season even begins. We will notify you by email when you should purchase your memberships.
