It is our goal to provide as much information as possible so that you can make the most informed decision possible before tryouts. 2019 - 2020 Club Season Tryouts for 12U - 14U athletes.
When: Sunday, October 13th
Ages: 12U, 13U and 14U
Registration: 8:00am - 9:00am
Tryouts: 9:00am - 12:00pm

* Club Season Tryout Fee and Cancellation Policy: This fee covers all expenses related to tryouts for one athlete for the 2019-2020 club volleyball season with ST7; including coaches fee, court rental, and administrative fees. The tryout fee may be refunded if tryout is cancelled in writing to by athlete up to 24 hours before the tryout date. After 9:00 am on Saturday, October 12, 2019, no tryout fee will be refunded. Tryout fee does not guarantee placement on a club team for the 2019-2020 club season nor will the fee be refunded if an athlete is not placed on a team.
Tryout Guidelines for Current ST7 Members
Current ST7 members must complete all of the tryout requirements found below with the exception of providing a copy of the birth certificate. We have retained a copy of any 2018 - 2019 club member's birth certificate on file. ST7 reserves the right to refuse re-enrollment to athletes with poor discipline, attendance records or conduct detrimental to the team. Re-enrollment may also be refused to athletes or parents/legal guardians who have demonstrated disharmony regarding the purpose, objectives, standards, policies, rules or regulations of the club. In addition, athletes will not be re-enrolled until all financial obligations for the athlete or any immediate family member of the athlete are brought current. Any athlete who left a previous season without completing their financial obligations or the financial obligations of an immediate family member will have to pay any outstanding balance and pay at least half of the upcoming club season’s fees in order to be re-signed.

2019 - 2020 Age Definitions
Upon arrival you will register at the registration table.
In order to register each participant of the tryouts must submit the completed Athlete Registration Packet. A participant will NOT be able to tryout if the Registration Packet is incomplete.
Submit a copy of the athlete's birth certificate.
ST7 coaching staff will be evaluating skills, fundamentals, teamwork, communication, attitude, discipline, leadership, positions, and other skills and attributes.
What will happen after tryouts?
ST7 will be posting the athletes names that were selected to participate in the club teams 24 hours after the last tryouts. You must visit our website www.st7volleyball.com to verify if your athlete was placed. All parents/legal guardians of athletes who have been placed must contact ST7 by email at email@example.com within 24 hours of the posting in order to confirm their commitment to ST7.
In order to accept an athlete's commitment the first payment of $500, must be paid by Wednesday, October 16th. ST7 will offer two options for making the first payment. Option #1: ST7 will email an electronic quickbooks invoice that will allow you to make a secure payment electronically by bank transfer by Wednesday, October 16th. Option #2: We will be available on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 15th and 16th from 6:30PM - 8:30PM at the Big House to take payments by check, cash, or credit card. The first payment is collected to cover the cost of the uniform package.
Mandatory Uniform Fitting will be offered on two nights, Tuesday and Wednesday, October 15th and 16th from 6:30PM - 8:30PM at the Big House. Athletes must arrive at some time before 8:00PM on either night to be fitted for their uniform package. Uniform fitting should take between 15 - 30 minutes. Uniforms will be ordered by Thursday, October 17th.

On Wednesday, October 16th, ST7 will publish the names of the committed athletes for each team. Committed athletes is defined as athletes who have both emailed 24 hours after the team posting and paid their first payment.
Upon commitment, athletes will need to complete more documents and obtain the appropriate memberships for their team. We will provide a list of documents and memberships necessary for each team and athlete. AAU memberships are approximately $14 and USAV memberships are approximately $55. * All committed athletes will need the AAU membership, only some teams will require the USAV membership, as well.
There will be a mandatory parent and athlete meeting in October. Exact time and date for each team will be sent with the team assignments email.
Practices will begin Tuesday, November 5th.
General Club Season Information
Club volleyball is an excellent place for athletes to perfect their skills, increase their leadership capabilities, and improve their teamwork. Club volleyball is vital for young athletes to work towards college team placement and scholarships. Playing club volleyball and competing in tournaments, exposes young athletes to a greater number of college scouts and recruiting opportunities. Athletes on 15U – 18U teams at ST7 are provided with a state-of-the-art recruiting profile through SportsRecruits and personalized recruiting guidance.
ST7 club coaches are professionals with immense knowledge of the game from both a player’s and coach’s perspective. All ST7 coaches are IMPACT certified. IMPACT stands for increased mastery and professional application of coaching theory; this certification ensures that our coaches continue to grow in the knowledge and mastery of best coaching practices. Our coaches are also SafeSport certified ensuring their abilities to support their athletes both on and off the court. ST7 holds their coaches to high standards of ethical and professional behavior and every coach has undergone a full background check. Our coaching staff is committed to excellence and their greatest reward is the success of your athlete. Coaches will be assigned to teams after tryouts. Athletes and parents will be aware of the coaching assignment prior to their commitment.
ST7 Volleyball rents court space at the Big House in Tavares for our club team practices. The Big House is a state-of-the-art indoor complex which has 16 beautiful hardwood volleyball courts located conveniently 20 miles north of Orlando between Clermont and the Mount Dora/Eustis area.
