ST7 Now Using A New 2 Step Sanitizing Process to Protect our Volleyballs 6/11/20

In our continued effort to protect our athletes, coaches, and families against COVID-19 in any way that we can, ST7 has begun using a two step process that will keep our volleyballs germ free for 90 days. 

• All of our volleyballs have now been disinfected with SmartTouch, a hospital grade disinfectant which kills 99.999% of bacteria in less than 60 seconds. 

• We then treated each volleyball with Bioprotect RTU, a water based antimicrobial surface protectant which remains active on applied surfaces for 90 days. 

• You will no longer see our coaches sanitizing volleyballs in between lessons, etc. as this will keep them protected for the next 90 days. 

• We will continue to retreat our volleyballs every 90 days throughout the year.

ST7 Volleyball Camps Update 5/20/20

For ST7, the safety and health of our athletes, coaches, and families is our top priority. With the current guidelines, we do not feel that we can continue to offer our Summer Volleyball Camp in June. It is our hope that we will be able to offer our July camp safely. We will continue to monitor the situation and will update our website accordingly.

We are currently working with our facilities and the new CDC and State Guidelines to plan for our summer camps. We will announce here on our website with information regarding which camps we will be able to continue to host.

ST7 Volleyball Private Lessons  Update 5/17/20

ST7 is working diligently with our locations and with the CDC and state guidelines for safety to put best practices of social distancing and sanitization in place so that we can begin offering private lessons again soon. ST7 Summer Cup Update 5/5/20 8:21pm

We wanted to reach out to each of you today regarding the ST7 Summer Cup. It was our hope to be able to continue to host our annual ST7 Summer Cup tournament as scheduled on June 6, but under the current health guidelines and state restrictions, there are simply too many unknowns for us to feel we can safely and securely host this for you, your athletes, coaches, and spectators. We are officially cancelling this tournament for this year but plan to host it again next season. We appreciate your consistent support of ST7 tournaments and hope to host your club again in the future. Wishing you all health and prosperity in the future.

ST7 Volleyball Club Team Practice  Update 5/4/20

Good afternoon, ST7 family! 

 

We hope that this email finds you all strong, safe, and healthy! We wanted to reach out today to update you as to where things stand with the season as of today. ST7 is sanctioned through USAV and AAU. In the last update from USAV, they released an extension of restrictions through Friday, May 8th. At this time, they have not given another update to this timeline. There is a scheduled conference call with the region this Thursday, 5.7.20; where we hope to get further updates. 

 

Under the current state restrictions, phase one did not include the opening of gyms or team athletics and there has not been a date or details given yet for the next two phases to begin. Although as of our last update, we planned to return to practice on Tuesday, May 12th, with all of the uncertainties we can not release a new planned date of return at this time. 

 

The safety and well being of our athletes, families, and coaches remains our top priority. It is our hope that through this week, there will be more clarity given by USAV, AAU, the State of Florida, and health officials that will help us to make the best decisions for this season. ST7 Battle of Volleyball Tournament Update 4/30/20

Good morning, Club Directors and Coaches. 

 

We wanted to reach out to you all this morning regarding the ST7 Battle of Volleyball tournament. It was our hope to reschedule this tournament for a later date. Unfortunately, we have not been able to secure a new date at our facility and do not want to leave this in a state of uncertainty any longer as we know many of you face difficult decisions regarding your club season ahead. We will officially cancel this tournament for this year. We will be issuing refunds to the credit card used in registration. ST7 Volleyball Club Team Practice  Update  4.23.20 11:07am

Good morning, ST7 family! We miss seeing, coaching, and playing with each and every one of you.

 

We wanted to reach out this morning with the latest update from USAV. USAV has extended it's restrictions through May 8th. They have also assured us that they are going to do everything in their power to keep our athletes and family's safety and health as their first priority. 

 

While we were disheartened to hear that we can't go back on the 5th, we are happy to hear that it is only one week from that. At this time and based on these new dates, we will plan to return to practice on Tuesday, May 12th.

Good evening. ST7 continues to keep the health of our young athletes and their families a priority and works to follow all social distancing and "stay at home" orders. With this in mind, we will be cancelling the April Volleyball Clinics. If you have already paid through PayPal, we will refund your full payment. It is our hope to be back in the gym in May. ST7 Club Team Practice Update 3.31 .20 7:29pm

Good evening, ST7 Volleyball family. We hope this message finds all of you well and healthy. We wanted to reach out to you tonight with our latest updates.

​

• We received notice today from USA Volleyball that they are extending the shut down of all volleyball activities through April 30, 2020. Therefore, ST7 will not be able to return to practice, private lessons, clinics, or tournament play until this time. It is our hope to return to practice on Tuesday, May 5th. 

• We are well aware of the financial impact that this situation has had on many of our ST7 family members. We, too, have lost all forms of revenue and can not work due to the restrictions. With this in mind, we will not be sending out April's invoice. It is our hope to return to practice and extend this payment into the extended season. We will continue to keep you updated with this information. 

• As the call for social distancing continues, ST7 wants to keep our young athletes active to help with their physical and mental health. We hope that your athlete has enjoyed the workouts and messages being sent by their coach for each week. We will continue to send these throughout this time that we can not be in the gym and hope that you will encourage your athlete to take advantage of these and continue to stay active and get their hands on a volleyball as often as they can.

It is in times like this that we feel so blessed to have such an incredible support network in our athletes, coaches, and families. Thank you for your continued prayers and support as we are praying for each of you, as well. 

 

We received notification from USAV that all volleyball activities including private lessons, clinics, camps, tournaments, and practice must be cancelled until April 15th. It is our plan at this time to return to practice on Thursday, April 16th. We continue to work on a plan to replace lost court time after we are allowed to return to traditional practice. In the meantime, our coaches are working on at- home workouts to send home to their team through email next week. Each week we will send a new workout from their coach to be completed that week.

ST7 Family! We hope that this message finds you all healthy and safe. We have continued to monitor the emerging situation with COVID-19 and its impact on Florida, our nation, and our world. In the interest of the safety of our athletes, coaches, staff, and families and in accordance with recommendations of AAU and USAV, we will be cancelling practice through Tuesday, March 31st. At this time, our plan is to resume practice on Thursday, April 2nd. We will be reevaluating our calendar at this time and will let you know if any further changes must be made due to this situation. ST7 Spring Break Camp Update 3.14.20 / 4:39pm

ST7 has continued to monitor the emerging situation with COVID-19 and its impact on Florida, our nation, and our world. In the interest of the safety of our campers, coaches, staff, and families and in accordance with recommendations of AAU and USAV, we have decided to cancel the ST7 Spring Break Camp. If you were already signed up and paid to go to ST7 Spring Break Camp, you have the following options: 

 

Option #1: Apply your Spring Break Camp Fees to one of our ST7 Summer Camp Dates. The dates are the following: 

June 1-3 from 9am-12pm

June 8-10 from 9am-12pm 

July 20-22 from 9am-12pm 

 

Option #2: If you are a club team member then you may apply the Spring Break Fees to your club fees. 

 

Option #3: If you would like a refund of the Spring Break Camp Fees, we can gladly do that for you.
