Date: June 6, 2021
Location: The Well Acitivity Center ( 110 Athletes Row Apopka, FL 32703)
Age Divisions: Girls’ Divisions – 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U
Divisions may be combined if necessary.
NEW THIS YEAR: The age determination date is July 1. No age waivers will be accepted this year.
10 & Under - Born on or after July 1, 2010
11 & Under - Born on or after July 1, 2009
12 & Under - Born on or after July 1, 2008
13 & Under - Born on or after July 1, 2007
14 & Under - Born on or after July 1, 2006
Format: AM Wave only. The format will be pool play. The team with the best record in each pool will be awarded 1st place medals and a cup.
Rules: The ST7 Summer Cup will be conducted under rules of the AAU Code, AAU Volleyball Handbook and current playing rules of USA Volleyball, as modified by the AAU National Volleyball Committee. For complete information, please refer to www.aauvolleyball.org.
AAU membership guidelines will be followed.
No age waivers will be allowed. It is the responsibility of the coach to enter the team in the correct age category. Failure to do so could result in disqualification from the event.
Entry Fee: The entry fee is $150 per team. All entries must be completed online at https://sportwrench.com/event/21061
Entry Deadline: is May 6, 2021 or earlier if capacity is reached. Entries are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Deadline to Register and Pay: The final deadline to register and pay is May 6, 2021. Please note that there is a cap on each division. If a division meets its maximum capacity before the deadline to register and pay, that division will be closed. Each team must secure their spot with payment. Registration without payment will not secure a spot.
Cancellation Policy: Withdrawals made in writing by May 17, 2021 will receive a 50% refund. Any team withdrawing after May 17, 2021 will forfeit its entire entry fee. Withdrawal requests must be made in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org
Ball: Game balls will be provided. Teams are responsible to provide their own balls for warm-ups.
Coaches Information: Wristbands for coaches will be available at the tournament site. Please be advised that ONLY coaches listed on the roster will be provided wristbands. Team representatives or chaperones will not be provided a wristband. A maximum of 3 coach's wristbands will be provided per team. All coaches must present ID to receive their wristband.
Referees: We are providing professional up refs but coaches must bring their whistle and perform the down reffing duties, themselves.
Officiating Assignments: ST7 will provide professional up refs but coaches must bring their whistle and do the down reffing duties. Each team is responsible to provide two line judges, a libero tracker, a scorekeeper, a scoreboard operator, and a down ref (the down ref must be a coach).
Rosters: Please be aware that all signed AAU team rosters with athlete’s jersey #’s and any modifications to the official team roster must be submitted to ST7 by Wednesday, 6/2/21 via email at email@example.com.
Awards: Medals and a cup will be awarded to the first place team in each pool.
Athletic Trainer: Athletic trainers will be available throughout the event. Athletes must provide their own tape/pre-wrap for any of their pre-existing needs.
Spectator Wristbands - CASH ONLY: Spectator wristbands will be available at the tournament location for $10 CASH ONLY. Please advise your parents that we will not be accepting credit card transactions for entrance so that they may come prepared. There is no ATM at the gym. We appreciate your help in making sure all of your fans are aware of this policy before they arrive at the tournament. All spectators ages 10 and under will be free. Doors will open at 8:15 AM.
Facility Rules: No coolers, food, or outside chairs allowed within the facilities. Athletes and fans may bring water bottles of any kind. A full concession will be available.
*ST7 is renting court space from The Well Activity Center, all inquiries should be directed to ST7 Volleyball.
Parking: Free parking will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
Noise makers: No noise makers are allowed.
Sportsmanship: ST7 is dedicated to providing the best experience for all of our athletes, coaches, referees, volunteers, and fans. In order to do this we ask that each team and club remind their athletes, coaches, and fans that they are expected to be role models of good sportsmanship. Please show respect to all other fans, athletes, referees, directors, coaches, and volunteers. We will not tolerate any unsportsmanlike behavior by any participant or spectator at ST7 events. Any unsportsmanlike behavior can result in being ejected from the tournament facility and/or disqualification of a team.
*Official AAU tournament roster(s) and signed AAU Medical Release Form(s) will be required to participate.
