Fall Competitive Volleyball Program

ST7 Volleyball is excited to announce the ST7 Fall Competitive Volleyball Program! This program has been designed to take the very best elements of Mini Club Volleyball and supercharge them in order to better target the skills, game knowledge, and on-court experience that our athletes in grades 6-8 need the most. This program will accept a limited number of athletes to continue the safest possible training situation for our athletes, coaches, staff, and families. As with all of our recent programs, once the program is full we will begin a wait list. Register early to secure your spot.

*ST7 will not be offering a Mini Club season this year and will be offering this program instead. We feel this is a better and safer alternative for our athletes to continue to grow in their skills, game knowledge, and on-court experience.

Athlete Placement:

This program is specifically designed to meet the needs of our more advanced athletes who may have prior club experience to our beginner athletes who may be giving volleyball a try for the first time.

  • During the first training session, our coaches will work with the athletes to determine their best initial leveled placement for maximum athlete benefit.

  • Athlete placement will be made solely by our coaches based upon their professional coaching experience with the goal of placing each athlete on the court that will provide the specific skills and training they need to maximize their personal growth.

  • These placements may change session to session based upon the focus skill of that training and the athlete's needs.

Progressive Skill Development:

ST7 believes that it is only through increased repetition emphasizing correct core techniques that an athlete can achieve and execute every skill at the highest possible level. It is with this philosophy in mind that we have designed our progressive court system for our ST7 Fall Competitive Volleyball Program.

  • At each session every court will be focused on one to two primary skills.

  • Each court will be a natural progression of these skills. For example, if the skill focus for that session is serving, one court may be working on developing the correct footwork, toss, and swing for an overhand serve, another court may be working on all of these elements but adding the skill of serving to various positions on the court, and another court may be using all of these elements and then adding the different types of serve including ground serve, jump float, or top spin. *the number of courts and levels will be determined by the number of athletes participating

Competitive Game Play Situations:

The goal of these competitive situations is to give all of our athletes more on-court experience, motivate the athletes to push themselves, and to have fun!

  • At the end of each session, every court will work on competitive game play situations. These competitive situations and formats will vary each session and on each court. They may include competitive drills, duo, quad, or traditional scrimmages, or various competitive games.
