Private Lessons

We are very excited that the governor has released restrictions on youth sports and that we can begin to get back into the gym with our athletes! We have missed you all so much. Although we are excited to begin, we are also very conscious of the continued health threat that COVID 19 remains and want to do everything we can to reduce the risk to our athletes, coaches and families. With that in mind, we will be taking a phased approach to starting training again.

Our Phased In Approach:

  • We will begin ST7’s phase 1 offering private lessons to ST7 members (those who were part of an ST7 team in the 2019-2020 season and are current AAU/USAV members on Wednesday, June 3rd at the Big House.

  • On June 15th we opened private and semi - private to all athletes as part of our phase 2.

  • Finally, we hope to enter phase 3 where we will begin offering small group training/clinics/camps/etc. Date: TBD

Our New Safety/Health Procedures:

ST7 Safety Protocol/procedures:

  • When booking a lesson you will be given a short health assessment survey.

  • All athletes and family members that have one or more symptom(s) that may be related to COVID-19 should stay home and cancel their lesson immediately. There will be no cancellation penalty if cancelled due to a COVID-19 symptoms in the athlete or anyone the athlete has come in contact with in the last 14 days.

  • We ask that no more than two immediate family members attend the lesson with the athlete to help limit the number of people.

  • All parents/athletes/guests will be required to sign an updated waiver before they can participate in any activities with ST7 Volleyball.

  • Upon arrival at your lesson, you will check in at the desk with Naily or Robin and be asked to go through another short health assessment survey before starting your lesson.

  • We will be requiring masks of our coaches, staff, and any family members attending the lesson.

  • We will ask athletes to wear a mask upon arrival and until the lesson begins and then put it back on once the lesson ends.

  • Water fountains will not be available. Athletes will need to bring their own water bottle.

  • Athletes will be given breaks to both hydrate and use hand sanitizer.

  • We will separate all lesson sessions by at least one court to provide adequate space to social distance.

ST7 Now Using A New 2 Step Sanitizing Process to Protect our volleyballs

In our continued effort to protect our athletes, coaches, and families against COVID-19 in any way that we can, ST7 has begun using a two step process that will keep our volleyballs germ free for 90 days.

  • All of our volleyballs have now been disinfected with SmartTouch, a hospital grade disinfectant which kills 99.999% of bacteria in less than 60 seconds.

  • We then treated each volleyball with Bioprotect RTU, a water based antimicrobial surface protectant which remains active on applied surfaces for 90 days.

  • You will no longer see our coaches sanitizing volleyballs in between lessons, etc. as this will keep them protected for the next 90 days.

  • We will continue to retreat our volleyballs every 90 days throughout the year.

The Big House will also be changing some of its procedures and protocols to reduce risks within its facility, these include but are not limited to:

  • The facility underwent professional sanitization on Sunday, May 31st.

  • New cameras have been installed so that guests will need to be buzzed in to prevent overcrowding.

  • Everyone will be required to sign a facility waiver before entering the facility.

  • Extra hand sanitizing stations have been installed throughout the facility.

  • The facility will have new hours closing earlier to allow extra time for sanitizing each day.

Private lessons are $65.00/hour.

*Due to COVID-19 adjustments made in our programs, we are currently only offering private lessons to ST7 team members. We will begin phase 2 on June 15th, opening private lessons to non-ST7 club team members, as well. We will also not be able to offer packages at this time. We appreciate your understanding.

Please let us know if you have any further questions regarding lessons or our safety protocol. To book a lesson, please email us at st7volleyball@gmail.com. We look forward to seeing and training with each of you again soon!
