The ST7 Santa Express Tournament is right around the corner on Sunday, December 13th. We are so excited to kick start the tournament season with this excellent event. We are hard at work finalizing the schedule and event details and will be sending all of that soon. In the meantime, here are a few details to help you get ready. 

• Date: Sunday, December 13th 

• Location: Mount Dora Christian Academy Gym 

• Address: 301 W. 13th Ave. Mount Dora, FL 32757

• Spectators: We will not need to limit the number of spectators due to the size of the gym.

• Spectator Entrance Fee: $10 *cash only 

• Masks and temperature checks will be required for athletes, coaches, and spectators. Athletes may remove their masks while warming up and playing on the court. 

• A full concession stand will be available. 

• Medals will be awarded to the first place winner in each pool. 

• 13U will play in the AM wave and 14U will play in the PM wave

Affordable Pricing: $125 per team.

 

To Register: Please email us at st7volleyball@gmail.com. Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Your spot will be secured through both registration and payment for your team.

Format: The format will be pool play. The team with the best record in each pool will be awarded 1st place medals.

​

Rules: ST7 Tournaments follow AAU Rules therefore athletes may only appear on one roster in the same tournament. Athletes must play true to age or above according to the current AAU age definition chart.

Referees: We are providing professional up refs but coaches must bring their whistle and do the down reffing duties. 

​

Coaches Information: Wristbands for coaches will be available at the tournament site. Please be advised that ONLY coaches listed on the roster will be provided wristbands, not team representatives or chaperones and that a maximum of 3 coach's wristband will be provided per team. All coaches must present ID to receive their wristband.

Officiating Assignments: ST7 will provide professional up refs but coaches must bring their whistle and do the down reffing duties. Each team is responsible to provide two line judges, a libero tracker, a scorekeeper, a scoreboard operator, and a down ref.

 

Rosters: Please be aware that all signed AAU team rosters with athlete’s jersey #’s and any modifications to the official team roster must be submitted to ST7 by Wednesday, 12/11/19 via email at st7volleyball@gmail.com. 

 

Warm up Balls: Warm up balls will be provided for all teams. Please do not bring balls to the facility.   

 

Awards: Medals will be awarded to the first place team in each pool.  

 

Athletic Trainer: We will provide a professional trainer on the premises. If medical attention is needed, please do not hesitate to go to the training room or ask for the trainer.   

 

Cancellation Policy: If you must cancel your registration for the tournament, please let us know by email two weeks in advance and we will gladly refund your payment. If ST7 has not received notice 2 weeks in advance, there will be no refund to your credit card.  

 

Spectator Wristbands - CASH ONLY: Spectator wristbands will be available at the tournament location for $10 CASH ONLY. Please advise your parents that we will not be accepting credit card transactions for entrance so that they may come prepared. There is no ATM at the gym. Thanks! All spectators ages 10 and under will be free. Doors will open at 7:15 AM.  

 

Facility Rules: No coolers, food or outside chairs allowed within the facilities.  A full concessions will be available. The concessions will take cash and credit card. 

 

*ST7 is renting the gym at Mount Dora Christian Academy, all inquiries should be directed to ST7 Volleyball. 

 

Parking: Free parking will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

Noise makers: No noise makers are allowed.

​

Sportsmanship: ST7 is dedicated to providing the best experience for all of our athletes, coaches, referees, volunteers, and fans. In order to do this we ask that each team and club remind their athletes, coaches, and fans that they are expected to be role models of good sportsmanship. Please show respect to all other fans, athletes, referees, directors, coaches, and volunteers. We will not tolerate any unsportsmanlike behavior by any participant or spectator at ST7 events. Any unsportsmanlike behavior can result in being ejected from the tournament facility and/or disqualification of a team.
