Coach Stephanie Tibbetts has a life long love of the sport of volleyball. She began playing in the 5th grade as one of the first athletes to experience club volleyball in Kansas. She graduated from Heston High School where she was blessed to play for a coach who instilled in her a love and passion for the game, her mom. In high school they won two volleyball state runner-up titles in 1994 and 1996. Coach Stephanie was named to the Kansas All-State, All Classifications 1st team. She moved on to play with a full-ride volleyball and academic scholarship at St. Leo University. Coach Stephanie moved back to Kansas and completed her collegiate volleyball career at Sterling College. While at Sterling College, Coach Stephanie continued to excel as a student athlete being named all-conference honorable mention. Later, Coach Stephanie graduated from Wichita State University in 2001 with her Bachelor's in Marketing and completed her Master's Degree in Sports Administration in 2005 at the University of Kansas.

Along with coaching, Coach Stephanie teaches elementary physical education in Lake County at Real Life Christian Academy. In 2007, Coach Stephanie began her club volleyball coaching career with Lake County Juniors. She took some time off after she and her husband, Chris, welcomed daughter, McKinley, to the world.  She returned to  coaching club again in 2016 at Sonshine Volleyball with the 16U team. She continued coaching with Orlando Rize in 2017 and 2018 for the 17U and 14U teams. Coach Stephanie joined us at ST7 for the 2018 - 19 season and has been part of our ST7 family ever since. We are delighted to have Coach Stephanie as a part of the ST7 coaching staff and know that our athletes will learn and grow as both athletes and leaders with her.
